The Love Creative Shower Liner is a 100% polyester weave designed to provide a soft, fabric-like feel while maintaining high water repellency. As a non-toxic alternative to PEVA or PVC, it does not produce the chemical odors often associated with new shower liners. The 72x72 inch dimensions are standard for most U.S. alcove tubs, making it a straightforward replacement for an old liner.
Practical Safety & Maintenance
While the material is highly water-repellent, it is a fabric weave rather than a solid plastic sheet. Under very high-pressure shower heads, fine droplets may occasionally pass through. To help the liner dry effectively and prevent the buildup of residue, it is important to ensure the bathroom has adequate ventilation. The liner is machine washable, which helps maintain its appearance over time, though the water-repellent coating will naturally wear after many wash cycles.
The bottom hem includes encapsulated magnetic disks designed to help the liner stay in place against the tub. These magnets work best with steel tubs; in acrylic or fiberglass showers, the weight of the hem still helps reduce the curtain from blowing inward. It is a helpful practice to pull the liner closed after use to allow the fabric to dry evenly across its surface.
