The IYYI 800ml bowl is constructed with a dual-shore hardness design, featuring a mid-density silicone body and a rigid polymer reinforcement ring. This design is intended to help maintain the bowl's shape while in use. Specifications indicate the unit is safe for temperatures up to 230°C, and it collapses to 35% of its original height for easy storage in a backpack or drawer.
The lid system uses polypropylene clips to provide a secure cover. To maintain the structural integrity of the unit, users should place the bowl on a level surface when filled with liquids. The silicone material is BPA-free and resistant to heat, though it may attract household dust due to a natural static charge; a quick rinse before use is recommended. For maximum stability, a working load of approximately 650ml is suggested for daily use.
