The Kes 30-inch single rail is made from 304 stainless steel, a material known for its ability to resist pitting and rust in humid environments. The 4mm thick hooks are designed to stay sturdy under the weight of most standard pots and pans. Because the hooks are not fixed to the bar, you can slide them to the side to make room for wider items, such as a large wok or a wide frying pan.
While the stainless steel is high quality, the 30-inch span can show a slight dip in the middle if it is loaded with very heavy cast iron. This can be prevented by ensuring the mounting brackets are secured directly into wall studs. If stud mounting isn't possible, using heavy-duty drywall toggles is a necessary step to keep the rail from sagging or pulling away from the wall over time.
